I will be speaking at the Oregon Fair Trade Campaign's teach in at the University of Oregon, 6:30-7:30 in Harris Hall. The topic is the secret Transpacific Free Trade Agreement, about which we know only from leaked documents.

I will be focusing on provisions to manipulate the prices governments rich and poor will be forced to pay under the agreement. As a member of Mad as Hell Doctors and an Oregon representative of Physicians for a National Health Program,I am intimately familiar with how this was done in the US with the help of my 2010 opponent for the US Senate, Ron Wyden.

He crossed Party lines in 2003 to vote for the Medicare Modernization Act(Part D), which gave drug companies the power to dictate prices the government pays for drugs under Medicare.
