Nadia Sindi may be working just as hard as the other two candidates for the north Eugene seat on the Lane County Board of Commissioners, but she isn’t raking in their kind of cash. That’s because Sindi doesn’t want it. A believer that campaign contributions distort elections and leave politicians beholden to special interests, Sindi is running for the seat using shoe leather and door knocking.
