EDITORIAL: Can’t have it both ways | Handy’s legal complaint raises some questions

"A court will determine the adequacy of notice and other issues. Yet Handy’s fundamental complaint — that the majority tried to freeze him out of the decision-making process — echoes the charge against him in the case decided two years ago. Handy was in the majority at the time, and the judge found that he and his colleagues had violated the law by setting up a parallel decision-making process that excluded members of the board’s minority.
Handy has insisted all along that the lawsuit decided in 2010 was a politically motivated hit job, and that is was wrongly decided by the judge. But if Handy and the others were blameless then, it takes a back -flip of logic for him to point an accusing finger at his colleagues now. Or perhaps he believes it’s wrong for some commissioners to violate the Open Meetings Law, but not for others.
More facts may emerge, but for now it appears Handy has either an inconsistency or a double standard. And while all this plays out, time, energy and money are being diverted from the many pressing issues facing Lane County government."

It's about time Handy stops his charades.. & face his criminal mischief, using his office to ask for donations... Handy's been very unethical from his first day of his campaign in 2008!!

These so call officials MUST FACE THE LAW FOR THEIR UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR & ABUSE OF THE OFFICES THEY ARE HOLDING!!

I JUST WISH PIERCY, MICHAEL CLARK AND PAT FARR!

PAT FARR WAS ARRESTED IN 2006 FOR DUI. YET HE'S CHEATED ME WITH THE REST OF THEM,  BY HIS UNETHICAL SEDITION & VOTERS FRAUD!! HAS NO GUILT.

WHAT KIND OF GOVERNMENT WE HAVE IN LANE COUNTY OREGON!!! DUI, AND HANDY'S CASE OF LEGAL ISSUES & LIES!!
