MY COMPLAINT AND FOIA REQUEST FOR CASE NUMBER AND COPIES OF ALL NOTIFICATIONS BY H.U.D. TO ALL PARTIES AS DEFENDANTS

Dear Ms./Mr. Director of Portland H.U.D Fair Housing Office:

Enclosed are attachments of letters received from the Seattle HUD office regarding my Housing Discrimination Complaint to Secretary Donovan in Washington for Reverse Redlining, Predatory Lending, Denial of Access to HAMP, and Harassment over the telephone by EMC Chase/Chase National Bank as parent company,

I am requesting a CHANGE of VENUE from Seattle to Portland, Oregon pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act and HUD regulations since it is a severe hardship for me as a Totally Disabled Vietnam-era Navy veteran to prefect and pursue this complaint with HUD and potentially federal court here in Portland, Oregon.

I live just across the river in Vancouver, Wa. and request that my case be moved here to the Portland HUD office. Please note the attachments that I received from the Seattle HUD office that were mailed on October 19 from Seattle and I received it on Friday October 22 with only that day to respond. I did respond via telephone , please see attached email s to Ms. Solomon who was not at work nor was her supervisor.

I request in the future that all correspondence requiring a response from me give me at least 30 days to respond as a disabled person or waive the time requirement. I do not have an attorney at this time to represent me so I may be in the hospital SEDATED when you write me.

I would ask that I be given at least ten days to respond as allowed for by law. NOT mailing me the document letter enclosed two days before it is due and the staff knowing they were going to be off at the end of the week as well.

This letter constitutes in writing besides email to Ms. Solomon of the Seattle HUD office my timely response per the ten day requirement. I prefer to put my intake statement in writing as well through counsel since I am disabled person and am not familiar with all the regulations surrounding this complaint process.

Please see attachments and please notify all the parties as stated in my email to Ms. Solomon to include the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I ask for additional time to conduct the intake that will allow me to find an attorney without prejudicing my case for dismissal for non compliance to respond to your requests in a timely manner.

The infrastructure of domination - soldiers, tanks, ships, planes, bombs and bullets costs the Israeli economy dearly – c. $20bn/yr including $3bn in US military aid.  The Israeli economy is THE main source of that funding.

The service industry (tourism, finance, insurance, trades, small business etc) accounts for 60% of Israel’s GDP.  Manufacturing accounts for 40%.
Electronics, arms and pharmaceutical account for 13.5%, 10% and 9% respectively of manufacturing exports.

DIAMONDS ACCOUNT FOR 30% OF MANUFACTURING EXPORTS
Israel is a net importer of goods so manufacturing exports are critically important to the economy.  Damage to the Israeli diamond industry would have serious direct and indirect repercussions for the economy – akin to those outlined in the Rand report, one of the authors of which confirmed to me they didn’t consider the potential impact of BDS on Israel’s diamond industry.
This can happen rapidly if buyers lose confidence in the Israeli diamond brand. Exports crashed by 80% in first three months of 2012 when buyers stayed away from Tel Aviv due to financial fraud scandal. Note that Israel doesn’t sell diamonds directly to the public or to jewellers – companies in the middle distribute Israeli diamond through five global trading hubs.
A handful of public companies with onerous legal disclosure responsibilities for shareholders and investors are primarily responsible for the distribution and sale of Israeli diamonds. They, and the global diamond/jewellery industry, cannot afford to have their brand images tarnished by association with Israeli human rights violations and blood diamonds. They have zero defence when challenged. If they try to defend themselves they draw attention to the fact. If they remain silent they appear to have something to hide.
New York is Israel’s most important diamond trading hub. The US market accounts for 40% of global diamond sales. 50% of diamonds sold in US come from Israel.

Israeli diamond companies will showcase $billions of Israeli blood diamonds at an Israeli Diamond Fair in New York 19-22 Oct.
Nothing could be more damaging for the Israeli economy and the global diamond industry than to protest and  highlight this trade in diamonds that generate $1bn/yr in funding for the war criminals of the Israeli military...especially now at this time of turmoil and violence in Palestine.
I know FOR A FACT that leaders of the global diamond industry have held a conference call about the threat posed by the diamond boycott campaign. I know that they decided to ignore  completely so as not to draw attention as they mistakenly did previously when a Retail Jeweller magazine published a letter of mine.

Diamonds are media magnets. When you bring diamonds into the Israeli/Palestine mix you draw in a whole new audience and get attention. Diamond buyers are already primed to reject blood diamonds – we just need to expose the charade of so-called conflict-free diamonds from Israel. Middle men in the diamond industry can and will buy diamonds from India or China if they sense Israeli diamonds are tarnished goods.
We need solidarity activists in New York to organise a protest outside the diamond fair next week.  Can anyone persuade activists in New York to take this on?

CAIR CAIR Asks Presidential Candidates to Repudiate Anti-Islam Hate Rallies 

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/5/15) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called on all presidential candidates to repudiate anti-Islam hate rallies by possibly armed anti-Muslim extremists targeting mosques nationwide this weekend. 

CAIR also urged the candidates to take time out of their schedules on October 9 or 10 to visit a mosque in a show of moral support for the Muslim community at a time of increasing Islamophobia and anti-Muslim incidents.

On Sunday, CAIR issued an alert outlining safety measures community leaders should take in response to the planned hate rallies. 

CAIR’s alert noted that organizers of the hate rallies “have indicated that participants in states with open carry laws may be armed and that provocations such as the use of live pigs and Quran desecrations may occur.” It also cited “the recent endorsement of Islamophobia by national public figures” as a particular concern.
